🔆Practising gratitude means paying attention to what we are thankful for, in turn being more kind and compassionate towards the world at large. It motivates us to make positive changes in the lives of others.
🔆Studies show that we can cultivate the habit of showing gratitude by literally counting our blessings and writing letters of thanks, etc.
🔆These acts of acknowledgements can increase our well-being, health, an happiness.
🔆This is also associated with increased energy, optimism, and empathy.
🔆The students of MSB Bangalore, from STD 1 to 10 got together, on the 26th of September, and took part in an activity called "THERAPEUTIC THURSDAY".
Here they sat down with their classmates and counted their blessings.
🔆Nowadays, people use emojis and short msgs to express their thoughts, these children expressed their gratitude by writing Thank You letters and by making Thank You cards for their family, friends , teaching and the non teaching staff of the school.
🔆The joy of expressing their feeling through words, posting their letters, and later receiving letters left them beaming, making this day indeedly therapeutic furthermore giving a light-hearted and optimistic touch to life.
