Field trips offer students a unique learning experience. It allows students to be involved in new environments, key to encouraging curiosity about a given subject. It is also valuable as an exercise in broadening a student's understanding of the world and their place in it. So for the first hand learning experience students of Class VIII along with 2 staff members visited the HAL museum on 12/12/2019. The students departed from school at 9:00 am and returned back to school by 2:00 pm.
In the museum the complete history of HAL was shown year wise in different rooms. The students observed and noted down the information. The students also observed different types of engines used in aero planes. Huge models of the aero planes were there in the museum which was really amazing to watch.
A video regarding information about HAL, the process of making aero planes, training provided to the pilots was shown. The students had a great learning and enjoyable time visiting the HAL museum.
