The whole world is going digital and freedom is in the air.

The combo of both was the celebration of Independence Day in pre-primary section.

An online celebration marking the 74th Independence Day, the little patriots were dressed in tri color attire the program started with the Tilawatul Quran by Nursery and shahadat of Imam Husain AS by LKG child.

As the concept of independence is to enormous for these tiny minds to digest so it’s very important that it reaches them in an appropriate way. Therefore through a story with puppets and flash cards this concept was explained in the simplest form.

After this children watched our Honourable PM Narendra Modiji unfold our National flag followed by a presentation on

Mufaddal Moula’s contributions towards the development of our nation which was explained by the DI teacher.

This was followed by a  talk show by the children of Pre-first who spoke about the national symbols.

Then was the most exciting time of the day ACTIVITY TIME!!!!

The whole celebration went on seamlessly and flawlessly and this wouldn’t be possible without the collaboration of our parents, students and team MSB.

Children of all 3 classes did activity on National flag, Indian map and national symbols virtually.

Children were dressed in three colours highlighting the colours of our national flag. To instil the value of patriotism, children were shown various freedom fighters and their sacrifices towards the nation and the significance of the three colours; saffron, white and green was explained.

Bangalore has also been a part of the freedom struggle. To remember the golden heritage of our city and to feel proud to be apart of it, children were taken for a historic walk of the five spots in Bengaluru and were explained how they contributed to the struggle.

Indeed this day was celebrated to its very spirit and children pledged to make this country a better place to live in.

The highlight of the day’s celebration was the International Guests rendering speeches, yes students of class VII presented a role play and enacted by speaking as President Donald Trump, President of Russia Vladimir Putin, Secretary General of UN Antonio Guterres, and the youngest Prime Minister of the World Ms Sanna Marin, the Prime Minister of Finland.
