MSB Educational Institute is concerned about the health of the students
According to media reports the incidence of dengue has drastically gone up in Bengaluru during the last few days and it is alarming to note that the worst hit are the school kids
To instill the values of personal commitment towards a healthier society, students were given awareness about dengue fever and its prevention. An extempore speech on the topic was given by a student of class X and an expert in the field Dr. Faridaben Bengali took a session on dengue for students of class III to X to instruct them about causes of dengue, measures to prevent breeding of mosquitoes and prevention of infection were discussed. Students clarified their doubts related to the topic.
Keeping in mind that mosquitoes that spread dengue mostly bite at dawn and dusk, students were recommended to wear full sleeved white T shirts inside the school uniform and apply mosquito repellent cream.
The importance of Infected person being well hydrated and consulting a Doctor as soon as symptoms are seen were highlighted.
